Kvantify has the privilege of welcoming professor David Gloriam and Niels Anton Berglund to the chemistry and drug development team.
Professor David Gloriam is taking on the part-time position of Senior Scientific Expert. He will be assisting Kvantify in developing world-leading software for the simulation and discovery of new drugs.
David holds a Ph.D. in bioinformatics from Uppsala University and has worked as a postdoc at leading European laboratories. Since 2008, he has been working at the University of Copenhagen conducting research in scientific database development, data science, and experimental structural biology.
Assistant Professor Niels Anton Berglund is employed as Head of Strategic Alliances. Using his experience as a consultant for biotech companies, he will be managing partnerships across the industry.
Nils holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical Biophysics from Southampton University and has spent two years of his Ph.D. at the Bioinformatics Institute of Singapore as an ARAP Scholar. Since 2016, he has been employed at Aarhus University, where he is researching computational strategies for drug development.
A warm welcome to Kvantify!
The chemistry and drug development team at Kvantify is building a platform for drug discovery using high-performance and quantum computing. Using classical computers, it is difficult to simulate the quantum nature of molecules, but with the advent of quantum computers, it will be possible to create much more efficient models for discovering new molecules and drugs.
